Majalengka Day 199 : a very American Story

.

It’s in America, and it’s suppose to be a horror story

Yet it’s in America, but with no horror in it whatsoever

Yes you read that right, the only story you’d get here is a bunch of people killing each other, and apparently everyone, I repeat, EVERYONE had some kind of brain damage and personality so twisted that Hitler watched the show in his grave with gaping mouth and had the thought of recruiting them for his afterlife army.

Meet our protagonists, the cheating father, an awfully stupid mother, and the oh-so-rebellious daughter. They just bought a (big, an awfully big) house with much lower price (considering the previous owners died in the house). And so they started their new life in their new house with a lot of terror.

The cheating father was a psychiatrist, a victim to the previously dead house owner who burnt herself along with her two kids (and went around telling people “I want them to feel my pain”, dear ma’am, seriously, you brought it to yourself, duh), and worked at home. Turned out his patients were extremely varied, ranging from a ghost with psychotic breaks, a member of murder-reenacting-cult, a very boring lady, and some poor fellas. And oh, poor him for seeing the old maid as her pre-dead self, a very (I repeat, VERY) attractive young lady, and very sexy to boot.

Next is the stupid mother, who completely oblivious to her surroundings and apparently didn’t give that much attention to her own daughter (I wonder what she did to kill time, she didn’t even have a job). A guy came covered in latex clothing from head to toe having SEX with her and she didn’t even bother to check the face behind that stupid latex mask?

The last but not least, the daughter, the girl who openly welcome a very questionable boy in her room (her father’s patient, duh) and apparently fell in love with him. Her days in school weren’t told that much, most of her scenes were in her room, or in the house. And when she didn’t attend the school for 16 days because of a very obvious reason, well, something was very wrong with this girl for not noticing the obvious.

Some episodes opened with murders in years before the protagonists arrived, and all of them happened in the house. The ghosts were trapped inside the house and the house itself was awfully crowded. A lot of deaths happened mainly because of the father’s first patient liked to do killing spree (oh those poor gay couples). The characters outside the house were this evil neighbor with the tendency of having “challenged” descendants and a creepy half-burnt guy who kept harassing the family.

This drama should be watched with lots of salt, since there were many WTF moments, like the sexy maid ghost that could look older with corneal ulcer, the sex scene of latex guy with stupid mother (and later she got pregnant OMG WTF), the sex scene of stalker’s ghost with evil neighbor’s boy toy (oh god, ghosts and sex? Really? America…), ghosts with fresh new clothes and make up while the others stick with their after dead appearance, the house trying to help the stupid mother delivering her babies by destroying their car and cutting off their telephone line, the surgeon getting the twins from their mother WITHOUT any IV line, maximum level of stupidity that got the cheating father killed (oh WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU oh stupid mother and daughter? If you knew how dangerous the house were, you should have guarded him to the exit)

this face should be enough to sum up the whole feeling i got while watching

In the end they’re all dead, and happy as ghosts (endless killing attempt, equal power, etc etc).

With these wackos in their first season, I kinda want to know what they’d have for season 2…
