totally fooled me
because apparently, it's not a movie about some sort of medieval hero's epicness
well, that's me being ignorant.
actually it's a story about a high-functioning autistic gal who managed to become a professor in animal science. The movie was mostly about Temple and her antics and her cattle. Claire did such a good job portraying an autistic that i almost didn't finish watching it.
never in my life have i watched a movie where the main chara irritated me so much from the beginning to the end. i mean, she kept yelling all the time in her speech and spoke as if she had multiple layers of bracers. That's awful, it irks me so much, and definitely not a movie you can watch over dinner. Oh my dinner T.T
the movie wasn't really scientific, it was emphasized more on her bravery for not giving up and going through every door (every door is for another world), not afraid of bullies and stand tall against the difficulties. great inspiring movie! little thumbs for her.
although i kinda didn't like her character here, props for Prof. Temple though. if you didn't already know, the movie was based on true story, that kind of gal did exist!
and oh boy, seeing Claire Danes before this movie, and then watching her in this movie.... brain damage~
that reminds me... that autistic boy in my class of junior high school, wonder how it went for him.
