Obnoxious

There are nights when I sit, helpless and alone
Waiting impatiently to hear that someone's voice
I can't take even one step out
And my footprints didn't shine with light
Then I heard singing voices
Coming one by one from afar
Telling me where my place is

To say just one phrase "I'm lonely" makes me feel like it's the end
So I hesitate, look up at the sky, and try to be strong, but

My past obsessions
My transient pride
Flow away and disappear
Just like tears.
Ah, to be born into this world
To live in the present
To talk
To laugh
If I can just say Thank you

There are nights when I realize
That single ray of moonlight tells me I'm not alone
But there are also times
When the moonlight just destroys an unexpected smile

Overlapping voices
One by one
Coming from afar
Let them reach your heart
